Busy Busy Busy....

What a weekend! Saturday: Me, Luke, and Lillian went to visit my friend Leigh and her baby Rowan. We went on a walk around their block with the strollers and Luke. It was a beautiful day! Luke pushed Lillian, although he had a hard time keeping her from running into mailboxes! :)
I got my hair done Friday and she curled it for me! I've never had this curly of hair before. Luke told me to go back to my friend and tell her to make it longer, my hair was to Wiggly, hahaahahahah!

After our visit in Franklin we went straight to the park to meet Stephanie and her kiddos Jaden, Brooke, and Dylan. The park was PACKED! Guess it was the first nice day since Fall, everyone was out to play. Saturday night was pretty low key, just hung out at the house. Sunday we got up and watched church service on T.V. and was getting ready to go to my Dad's for Dee's Birthday Lunch when..."Whack" Luke hit his head on my dresser. There "might" have been a little rough and tumble going on between Dee and Luke ;) Anyway, off to the ER Dee and Luke went because Luke had a nice deep cut above his ear. He was big and tough though, wasn't really crying much, but he did want to put a spider man band aid on it...so we just let him put it on his hair where the cut was, lol! Thankfully Dee took him because I'm sure I would've been a mess, they ended up having to put two staples in his head (OUCH!, I don't know if I could've watched that) He will get them out in five days. When he showed up at my Dad and Christa's for lunch he didn't even say anything...he just walked in and started hugging everyone and playing. After about five minutes he walked over to me and whispered to me, " I have a staple in my head". I could've died laughing! I love that little man, that little tough man!

So this week is going to be a crazy busy week....actually my weekend is going to busy which is why my week will be a bit busier because of "preparing". Lillian is going to be dedicated on Sunday (they postponed it because of the snow last time). My mom will be coming in Saturday and we are having a little get together thing Saturday night. So of course I'll do my usual cleaning house, washing sheets business, but I want to prepare some snacks for our get together Sunday..I just started Weight Watchers (my second go around at this :) and I'd like to try some of their recipes. I have to work Thursday and have an all day meeting Friday...so I'm trying to figure out when I'm going to get all my chores done...that's pretty much the story of my life right now. I always feel pushed for time. It will get done though, it always does.

So back to Weight Watchers, I started a week ago today...I'm dragging Dee through this with me. We are going to Gulf Shores in June for a wedding so we need to get on the weight loss bus now!

So I weighed in today and I've lost a total of 3.8 lbs in a week! Go me! I'm pretty happy about seeing some results finally. I also started a work out video at home, suggested by a friend, that is really great and it pretty much does the stuff one of my favorite classes at the YMCA does in an hour in 20 minutes at home! PERFECT! Going to the YMCA has been a struggle with me. Between nap schedules and getting everyone it is hard...if I wake Lillian up to go then she's cranky the rest of the day, if I wait and take both Luke and Lillian then it takes me at last thirty mintues to get everyone in the car (bottle, changing diaper, getting Luke's shoes on, grabbing bottles, blah blah)...so by the time I get there and work out it's almost been two hours and like I said I already feel pushed for time....so I REALLY need that two hours to get things done at home! So this work out video is TWENTY MINUTES, I pop it it during a nap time, take a quick shower and there ya go! I'm off to my next thing on my list. So hopefully I'll keep that up. Maybe if I put my weight loss on here I can stick to it :)

I still have about 33-38 lbs to lose (well to get to my "dream weigh") I'd be happy at losing 28 lbs....wow that seems like a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well better get busy!

Dee's Birthday Weekend

What a weekend! Saturday we got up and got ready to take the kids to my Dad's and Christa's house for the day. We went to the movies, we saw "Crazy Heart". It was a good movie about a worn out country singer who has battled with alcohal. Then we went to Stoney River, an awesoem steak house that Dad and Christa got us a gift card for at Christmas. It was so yummy, we had spinach and artichocke dip, we both had steaks, and shared a brownie and ice cream dessert. You pretty much had to roll us out of there when we were finished. It was a very relaxing day and I enjoyed being able to spend time with Dee without chasing our kiddies around :)

Sunday we woke up early and took Luke on a surprise Valentines trip. We went to meet his cousins in Chatanooga at the Auquarium. You should've seen those kids. We were walking up to the building (none of the kids knew we were going to all be there together) and when they saw eachother from a distance, Luke said, "hey, that's Rylee" and they said "LUKEY!!!!" and they all ran to eachother with great big hugs. I don't think Luke and Rylee let go of holding eachothers hands for a good hour :) We enjoyed walking through the aquirium and visiting. Then we went to lunch at Mellow Mushroom...yummo! and got to visit some more.

This morning when we woke up, we woke up to another 1-2 inches of snow! This is the most snow we've had in forever. Dee took Luke out to the farm to play in the snow why I try and conquer the dust bunnies in the house. I think they are probably having more fun but I really needed a day in the house alone to try and sort this mess.

We'll see if tomorrow the kids get another snow day. I'll post pics of the Aquarium soon.
The picture of Lillian is before Luke's Valentines Party Friday. The one of Luke is when he was getting ready to go to Grandaddy's and Grandmommy's...we just wet his "Bed Head" that's why its wet :)

Gabby's Baby Shower

This weekend was Gabby's baby shower. We had so much fun planning her shower and putting it on. We can't wait to meet her little baby girl!
It was pretty nice planning a baby shower around Valentines Day, lots of pink things available :)

Lillian's dedication is rescheduled for February 28, I can't wait! Dee's b'day is this weekend. My Dad and Christa will be watching the kiddies so we can enjoy a dinner alone. We are going to Stoney River, which is suppose to be an amazing steak house, Dad and Christa gave us a gift card to eat there for Christmas. So we are excited about using it.

Luke will be having a Valentines Party this week at school, he got Buzz Lightyear and Woody Valentines. It will definately be a busy week.

what a week!

So..we had an ice storm, well a TN ice storm so that pretty much means we didn't leave our house for the weekend. Lillian's dedication was cancelled and so was the shower I was hosting..BUT KK and PaPa still got to come see the kiddos and play in the snow! School has been out since Friday and I just found out that Luke's out again tomorrow. We're getting all kinds of "quality" time :)

It's been fun though, Luke and Dee have been little buddies this week, going out to the farm and today Luke got to go to work with Dee...I think he felt like a big boy for sure! Although tonight he told me he didn't want to go to work tomorrow, haha. He also thinks he's doesn't have to go to school anymore, guess that's what four year old thinks when they've been out of school this long :)

Lillian is growing like crazy! Today she rolled from her back to her belly...let the fun begin! She's is into everything, watching everything, laughing, trying to play with toys. I just can't believe how big she is getting.

I will keep everyone posted when her dedication is rescheduled. Last I heard it won't be until after Valentines Day (Dee's b'day) :)
